This is an attempt to answer the most frequently asked questions for the nolf games.

 

First of all, this is how Nolf2 keybinds was initially set up



If you run Lithtech.exe with administrator priviledges, changing keybinds should work out of the box.

However, if you for some reason can't set your keybinds ingame, this is how to do it manually in the files:

for Nolf 2 v1.3

Go to your game folder and into the Profiles folder, there you will find a file name Player.txt or if you created a new profile ingame it should have that profile's name.



for Nolf 2 v1.4 MODERNIZER

This version will read a different config file for keybinds, but will also update the old ones when you change keybinds ingame. This file is located in the game folder and has the name controls.cfg
The whole input system was rewritten for this update.



Set a new keybind

Here is a chart of codes for each key


So for instance "HolsterWeapon" which is bound to H, would have the code 35 by default.
