Hello SAssER. ((5)) Thanks for the welcome! I used to play all three, before I got bitten by the modding bug (blame SpyDave for that) and now I spend all my time staring at NOLF2 through a dEdit window.

Hi Jiao,
I can't say as much for SpyDave. I tried Dedit for ohh about one day and realized his friendship wasn't worth the ulcers. In fact I rejected Spawn and SpyDave's friendship and sold my soul out to to get over the desire to Dedit. After nearly a year of recovering in a small tibetan monastery I can say I'm cureddfe erfd e e deit dedit must nhhnn notr not nooooooo.

To "JIAO",

(I know, I know, you have been around for ages,
please just let me do my thing, ok, hehe, nice to
see you around "JIAO").

I wanted to wish you a very warm welcome to the
"NOLF Community", hopefully I will get to know
you over a period of time, hehe.

I am looking forward to meeting up with you on
the "BATTLEFIELDS OF NOLF 1 & 2, CJ, & F.E.A.R.",
and having some fun.

You are now part of what I consider the nicest
community on the internet today.

If your hungry, grab something from the fridge if you
like (UUUUUU, look there is lots of stuff in here, lol),
have a drink, if it's a just a snack your looking for, well
then the munchies are in the cupboard, so pull up a
chair, put your feet up, and join in the conversations
here at "SPAWNSITE'S FORUM".

ENJOY!!! :)) :)) :))

Take Good Care Of Yourself And Your Family,
Long Live "NO ONE LIVES FOREVER",

Your Friend In "NOLF 1 & 2, CJ, & F.E.A.R.", Always,

"CANADA" From The "GREAT WHITE NORTH".

:thumb: :)) :)) B) :)) :)) :)) :)) :))

Ha! ... Interesting reading regarding the 'push' I (and some guy I never heard of) unintentionally gave Spared ...

WOW!!! I'm impressed.
Not to long after that post I braved merging my Photoshop skills with Dedit to create hundreds of skins in many different games. Even some games that had no tools like Dedit eventually leading me to create my own editing tools which led to......etc.

I will definetly have to credit SpyDave and Wondy as two of the most influential people in getting me started on skinning. A hobby I have enjoyed immensely over the past few years. :thumb:

On a side note, pre 2000 I used to merge patterns into paper cutout doll clothes using Photoshop for a little girl in the neighborhood. That was sort of like skinning. :P

I do hope everyone knows I was just messing with SpyDave and Spawn and nobody took the joke seriously because they both know I think very highly of them.

You're a bigger man than I for admitting that!

;) j/k

And if anyone ever took our picking seriously ... well ... I would wonder about that individual!

btw ... You really need to thank Tom T. Terrific ... whoever he may be.

Side note: I started editing through skinning Dark Forces II Jedi Knight. A buddy and I played it all the time and we put our faces on the player models along with normal street clothes (tee shirts with logos and our own pictures). It was so cool playing each other and getting to see familiar faces.

I still have a desire to go back and make another JK level for old times ... (and actually release it this time!). Who knows I may still do it (believe it or not, people STILL edit that game.

Tom Terrific and and his dog, WonderDog were character drawings (b/w) with an artiest pencil, like a sprite or flipcode which moved, on Captain Kangaroo! :)

Yea, showing my age...

Captain Kangaroo ... I remember the show ... never did like it. Him and Mr. Rodgers both freaked me out as a kid ...

[edit] They still do actually ...
