I do not get any textures in my Project Window. I've reinstalled Tools several
times and this problem still reoccurs. I opened gamedll.rez and extracted the
5 files there to replace the ones in the Game folder. Can someone enlighten
me as to what I am doing wrong? I would like to resolve this problem once
and for all. Thank you!

I checked Coty's tutorial and except for "+DisableMusic 1" in the
Program arguments everything is the same. I even closed DEdit and
reopened it and still no textures in the Project Window.

No Textures- Make sure there is a DIRTYPETEXTURES in the Tex folder before opening DEdit.

Is it just textures, or everything? Do you see the worlds folder? Do you get an error, "Can't find Object.dll?"

The object.lto should be in the same folder as the dep and lyt. That would be the GAME folder.

File/Open project, and BROWSE to the dep inside the GAME folder.

What happens?

Coty,

There is no DIRTYPETEXTURES in the Tex folder or anywhere else that I can
see.
It is just textures! The worlds folder, prefabs, etc. are visible. There are no
error messages.

The object.lto, .dep, .lyt are all in the GAME folder.

File/Open project, and BROWSE to the dep inside the GAME folder.

What happens? Well nothing happens except the map(box) takes on a new
color.

Copy a DIRTYPETEXTURES.TXT file inside that folder. Or in DEdit click on the Textures tab, then right click and ADD Folder "Tex" This will create a DIRTYPETEXTURES.txt file for you. Add this file to all your textures folders. This tells DEdit where to find the textures.
