Your guess is as good as mine here, I haven't used this tool before either. I suspect that the coordinates we see is where the location of the actual brush is rather than its texture coordinates. Seems like texture units translates into something jibberish when opening a dat file in notepad++ atleast. I haven't been messing around with this much either. I think modernizer beta fixes some of the crashes, but it adds a couple of issues too for me atleast. walking while carrying is really really slow. Crouching is really slow as well. I haven't been able to run the dedicated server app properly either. That's why it it is still called beta though :ph3...

I wouldn't even try to edit levels themselves so if all world textures works the same as the doors - it would be dead end. I just did a test with one of the crates from the game. I had a suspicion that this might have been related to the brush itself, but I don't have enough knowledge about the engine itself. I am not sure why that would happen, I take it that both doors use the same texture and one them scale while the other one doesn't? Where does it happen and could you send the dtx file to me?

Textures doesn't require a specific game version, so a texture pack should work with any version of the game. So you can use it with the old widescreen patch as well. Modernizer has its flaws, its the first time I have heard about problems with the music though. For me 1.004 is unplayable on my main...
